Cobra MR HH450 All-Terrain Floating Radio (VHF/GMRS)

I've been using this radio on my kayak trips for months. It floats, which gives me peace of mind, and the sound quality is excellent. The weather alerts have saved me from getting caught in storms twice. Highly recommend for any angler.

This radio has a lot going for it – the rewind feature is cool, and the dual-band capability is handy. However, it's a bit chunky to hold for long periods. Still, it's a solid choice for the price.

I've had many VHF radios over the years, and this is by far the best. The receive is clear, the battery lasts, and the floating feature is a lifesaver. I dropped it in the lake twice now and it just keeps working. Worth every penny.

I like the size and the features, but I've had complaints from people I talk to that my voice sounds muffled. It's not terrible, but it's noticeable. The weather alerts work well, though.

Took this on a whitewater rafting trip and it got dunked multiple times. No issues at all. The GMRS channels are a bonus, and the NOAA alerts kept us informed. This is a rugged little radio.

It's a great radio, lots of features and the battery life is solid. But it's a bit heavy if you're carrying it on a life vest all day. I got used to it, but a lighter option would be better.

The radio works okay, but the battery door is flimsy and cracked after a few weeks. I had to tape it shut. Not what I expected from a floating radio that's supposed to be rugged.

I got this radio for a great deal, and it performs like radios twice the price. The rewind feature is actually useful when you miss a transmission. Very happy with my purchase.

I love this radio, but the charging cradle is a bit finicky. Other than that, it's been great. Clear audio, long battery, and it floats. I'd buy it again.
